Vicki is a business development specialist who has worked in the wood recycling sector for over 18 years. She has over 35 years’ experience in sales, marketing, business and people development, which culminated in her role as Business Development Director for Enva Wood Recycling.

In 2022, Vicki was appointed as the first woman to the WRA board, as well as continuing in her role of the past 8 years as WRA Technical Lead.

Vicki is a CIWM Board Trustee and Fellow of CIWM and CIM. She works with the Environment Agency and other regulatory bodies and partners, to help to develop a clearer understanding of key issues and solutions that work for industry.

Throughout her career she has championed diversity and the opportunities within the recycling sector. She is a passionate ambassador for sustainability and believes firmly that communication and networking allow for knowledge and development.

Now as MD of McPhee Associates Ltd, a consultancy firm she set up over 20 years ago, Vicki continues to enhance the overall business proposition, profitability, and enjoyment of those she works with, whether that is through technical competence & compliance, people development or sales & digital marketing.

As a single mother of two teenage boys, Vicki also spends a lot of time providing a taxi service and navigating the work life balance that we all crave, to a greater or lesser degree of success!
