Eco prevents over 89,000 tonnes of CO2e entering atmosphere
Eco Sustainable Solutions prevented 89,435 tonnes of CO2e from entering the atmosphere last year by diverting waste from landfill, creating products and producing green energy, according to the company’s 2022 sustainability report.
WRA welcomes increased 2024 packaging recycling target for wood
The Wood Recyclers’ Association has today (November 16) responded to confirmation that Defra’s packaging recycling targets for waste wood are set to rise next year from 35% to 42%.
Julia Turner, Executive Director of the WRA said: “For years wood packaging targets have been set too low and we welcome this increase, which will provide more support for waste wood reprocessors through the PRN system.
