Oliver Latter is Wood & Alternative Fuel Director at Veolia UK and has 25 years of industry experience. His journey in the sector includes previous ownership of wood recycling company Boomeco, providing him with knowledge across small, medium, and large wood processing operations.

In his current role at Veolia UK, where he has worked since 2015, he continues to demonstrate leadership in sustainable waste management practices while maintaining an independent voice in industry matters. His broad knowledge of the industry includes processing, transport, end markets, and regulatory requirements.

Oliver was appointed to the WRA board in March 2025. As a board member, Oliver focuses on representing reuse/recycling members, with a strong emphasis on promoting sustainable growth, job creation, and environmental benefits.

He is committed to promoting the waste hierarchy and is passionate about the industry’s role in achieving zero waste to landfill goals and effectively communicating this value to policymakers and stakeholders.
