Three places on the Wood Recyclers’ Association Board are up for election at our Annual General Meeting next week.

Existing Board members Geoff Hadfield of Hadfield Wood Recyclers and Paul Caldwell of IQR Systems, have both come to the end of their latest three year tenure on the WRA’s Board and have decide to stand for re-election. In addition, long-standing Board member Clem Spencer has decided to stand down, meaning a third position has become available.

WRA members John Droog, CEO of Marlin Industries Ltd and Alan Webb of JM Envirofuels are also standing, resulting in the need for an election. This will take place at the WRA’s AGM next week, on March 13th, in Coventry.

Each WRA member company is entitled to cast three votes, which is equal to the number of Board positions available. Votes should be sent by email by Monday 11th, March to julia.turner@woodrecyclers.org or by post to Julia Turner, Wood Recyclers’ Association, Little Hill, Main Road, Inkberrow, Worcestershire, WR7 4HH.

Alternatively WRA members attending the AGM can bring their votes with them to the meeting. Voting will close at 10am on Wednesday 13th  March 2019. The results will be announced as soon as practically possible after voting closes. Voting forms will be treated in the strictest confidence and will be verified by an independent third party.

Information about each of the members standing for election can be seen via the links below and the voting form is available at the bottom of this page for downloading. If anyone has any questions about the election or next week’s meeting they should email Julia Turner at the address above.
