The WRA is holding an election to replace former Board member David Laing who retired from his position on the Board last year, to spend more time with his family.
There are three WRA members standing for election: Jamie Plevin, MD of wood recyclers R Plevin & Son Ltd; Guy Evans, the UK representative for Swedish-based EFO AB; and Alan Webb from JM Envirofuels, part of the Jack Moody Group.
WRA member companies can cast one vote each as part of the process. The member with the most votes will then be elected to the Board for a three year period, after which time they can stand for re-election if they wish to.
Votes should be sent to WRA Executive Director Julia Turner by emailing julia.turner@woodrecyclers.org. The voting will close at 10am on Wednesday March 14th at the WRA’s spring members’ meeting and AGM. Votes will then be counted and verified and the new Board member will be announced as part of the AGM.
